Family Forestry Day is a fun, hands-on outdoor event for all ages, designed to help families and community members explore and appreciate forest ecosystems together. Hosted at the Torstenson Youth Conservation Education Center, this interactive day will feature guided activities and demonstrations focused on wildlife habitat, forest foraging, soil and water conservation, invasive species management, and tree propagation. Participants will have opportunities to learn through short walks, group activities, and engaging discussions with forestry professionals. Whether you’re new to forestry or already involved in conservation, this event offers something for everyone—kids, teens, and adults alike—to connect with nature and build practical stewardship skills.
